Yorbie™ Royalty-Free License & Usage Agreement
Royalty-Free means that you pay for the images only once and then you can use them as many times as you like, with few restrictions. In other words, there are no license fees except the initial cost to buy and no other royalties to be paid except those included in the initial cost.
After acquiring images, this license applies to all Yorbie™ images, and can be used only by the direct buyer of the images, or his/her employees for the company's clients. Images cannot be transmitted to another party or resold in any way as described below.
Images can be used to make portraits and other creative projects, on a web site, in a magazine, newspaper, book or booklet, flyer, or any other advertising and promotional material, in either printed or electronic media, as long as the item in which the image appears does not contradict any of the restrictions below. The list is not exhaustive and if you have any uncertainty regarding the use of the images in a correct manner, please contact Yorbie.
Advertisements, web templates, greeting cards, digital backdrops, or postcards especially designed for sale, similar print-on-demand services, canvas, t-shirts, mugs, calendars, postcards, mouse pads or any other items incorporating the image in an essential manner, intended to be sold or given for free, are considered redistribution. The image is used in an essential manner when it has not been used for its intended purpose, as a digital background/backdrop for other photos, or images. The use of Yorbie images for these purposes is not permitted. It is also forbidden to make the image available on a website for download (as wallpapers or digital backdrops, for example), although you may use the image in a concept/portrait/project in as many websites as you want, for any number of clients - offline as well. No Yorbie image can be redistributed as a "stand-alone" image, in any manner, redesigned or not. All redistributed Yorbie images must be used as intended, such as as a digital backdrop or digital template, and can not "stand-alone" or be used as the main focus of any of the concepts above – this list is not entirely inclusive. The intended use of these digital backdrops does not include redesign and reselling. None of our images, including but not limited to our digital backdrops and templates, may be resold as digital backdrops/backgrounds in any fashion remotely similar to their intended use redesigned or not.
None of our images may be resold or redistributed by any means, or made available for redistribution or resale by a third party. All images must be used for their intended purpose, such as as digital backdrops or templates. Any Yorbie image used as a digital backdrop or template with any other photo, image, or project, can be sold, printed, or used online and offline any number of times, adhering to this usage agreement.
Buying Yorbie images (purchasing the license) does not transfer the copyright. You may not claim that the image is your own and you may not sell, license for use, or in any way distribute the image for reuse. You may credit Yorbie, but you do not have to credit Yorbie with its creation, but you can not claim it as your own.

Without limitation, images may not be used as a trademark or service mark for any unlawful purpose, to defame a person, to violate a person's right to privacy or publicity, to infringe upon any copyright, trade name, trademark, or service mark of any person/entity. Unauthorized use of these Images constitutes copyright infringement and shall entitle Yorbie to exercise all rights and remedies under applicable copyright law, including an injunction preventing further use and monetary damages against all users and beneficiaries of the use of such images. The foregoing is not a limiting statement of Yorbie rights or remedies in connection with any unauthorized use. If you have any questions, or special usages concepts, please contact Yorbie.
Any license granted by Yorbie shall not constitute a representation that an Image is compatible for use with any other material. You are solely responsible for the use of any image in combination with any other material, and you agree not to use images with sensitive topics without a Yorbie written/email agreement
